N4V FOR WEBI 2026.2 is here — and it marks a milestone. Alongside a wave of enhancements to our widgets, panels and N4V Intelligence, this release introduces a brand-new application: the N4V Dashboard Builder. Here is an overview of what’s new.

New: N4V Dashboard Builder

Build your dashboards outside WebI — 100% web, no code, no additional license

The new N4V Dashboard Builder application is now available. This fully web-based tool lets you create your dashboard — from the simplest to the largest — without writing a single line of code, based on the N4V widgets calculated in WebI.

Design a modern, responsive, animated and polished dashboard — with multiple tabs, navigation and sections — in just a few clicks. Publish it to your intranet, extranet or internet portal and give access to all your users, at no additional cost.

N4V Intelligence Now Creates Your WebI Variables

From natural language to real WebI queries and variables

Since late 2025, N4V Intelligence has let you build WebI queries in natural language. With the 2026.2 release, it now also creates your variables — whatever the data source, whether a universe, Excel, and more.

Save time and eliminate typos and formula errors: the result is automatically inserted into a WebI table. And because these are real WebI queries and real WebI variables, you can still edit them in the WebI editor whenever you need.

New: N4V Widget — WebI Action Button

Place your favorite WebI action right inside your report

A WebI Action Button is now available in N4V widgets. Use it to place a WebI action directly in your dashboard (or report): a full or partial refresh of the queries, a navigation to a specific tab or report within the document, or the printing or saving of the document.

Like the other N4V buttons (Apply Filter, Reset Button…), you can fully customize the button’s appearance, using any image or SVG in place of the default text.

Enriched Widgets

The improvements you asked for, delivered

As always, we have made numerous improvements to our existing widgets — many of them coming directly from your feature requests. In this release:

• New optional vertical time separators in the timeline
• Animated and enhanced rendering of the pie in pie
• A waiting spinner in the navigation widgets
• Logarithmic axes in the bubble chart
• Enhanced display of the Gantt Resource Management
• And many more…

What’s New in the N4V Panel

A richer Settings panel, guided tours, and easier widget conversion

The Settings panel now includes our library of templates — use them as a starting point to create your own — and lets you edit the Export Server/FTP sections. Every N4V panel now features a guided tour that explains how to use it.

In the Chart Recommender panel, all our widgets are now displayed, making it easier than ever to turn a WebI block into an N4V widget. New enriched text is also available in some of the settings.

2026 Roadmap: 2 Major Versions

In 2026, Need4Viz maintains its delivery pace with 2 major releases (new components, in June and December) and 2 minor versions (fixes and improvements, in March and September), complemented by HotFixes as needed.
