The N4V OpenStreetMap component displays your data on a collaborative and free map background. You can overlay pie charts, bar charts or proportional circles directly on the map, and navigate freely (zoom, pan).
No data transformation is required: the component automatically recognizes city names, states, regions or countries present in your WebI dimensions.

Native Google Maps in SAP WebI: precise addressing and satellite view
For precise addressing needs or satellite visualization, N4V integrates Google Maps with two modes: by coordinates (latitude/longitude) or by text addresses. The component supports satellite mode, map mode, and full screen.

Maplines: drill-down maps from region to city
Maplines are interactive choropleth maps designed specifically for geographic level analysis. Click on a region to see the detail by state, then by city. Available for France, the United States, and customizable for other geographies.

Beyond geographic maps, N4V allows you to create custom floor plans: factory layout, building floor plan, network diagram. Any image can become an interactive map background with clickable zones linked to your data.

Prerequisites
N4V FOR WEBI installs on your existing SAP BO environment (BI 4.2, 4.3 or BI 2025). The mapping components use the same data as your existing WebI reports. No need to create new data sources or transform your dimensions.
Performance
The mapping components are optimized to handle large volumes of data points. Rendering is client-side (browser), which avoids any overload on the BO server.
HTML5 export with N4V Publisher
All mapping components are compatible with N4V Publisher. Your interactive maps can be exported to HTML5, keeping the zoom, drill and tooltips, for distribution on intranet or web portal. No additional SAP license required.
